Teen charged in shooting outside Rostraver apartment complex

A teenager has been arrested on charges that he tried to kill a man during a shooting near a Rostraver apartment complex this morning.
Police received a call shortly after 10 a.m. for a report that a man with a gunshot wound to the torso had driven to the Eastgate Exxon station and was requesting help.
The man, Adonte Rainey, 24, of Monessen, told police that Keyonta McIntyre, 19, also of Monessen, had shot him behind the Rostraver Apartments, near the intersection of Mathews and Peach avenues. Mr. Rainey drove himself to the gas station and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. His condition was not available tonight.
Mr. McIntyre was arrested at the Relax Inn near the intersection of Finley Road and Route 51 later in the day and taken to the Rostraver Police Department. He faces charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
