I-70 reopens near New Stanton after tractor-trailer crash

A crash late Tuesday night involving a tractor-trailer closed a portion of Interstate 70 for several hours in Westmoreland County near the junction with the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

All lanes eastbound between Madison and New Stanton interchange have reopened. State police in Belle Vernon had no information on the condition of those involved but said the injuries were minor.

The truck overturned around 11 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway.
