Blaze devastates Carney's restaurant in Westmoreland County

Fire gutted a restaurant and bar in Westmoreland County Friday, collapsing part of the roof.

The blaze broke out shortly before 9 a.m. at Carney's Corner Family Restaurant & Tavern on West Pittsburgh Street in Demont.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury, but no one else was hurt.

The state police fire marshal is investigating.
