A Washington County woman pleaded guilty Friday to helping her boyfriend rob banks in Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2010.

Jessica Crawford, 32, of Marianna, pleaded in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, W.Va., to bank robbery in connection with a heist at United Bank in Weirton, W.Va., on Dec. 3, 2010.

Federal agents said Ms. Crawford, a heroin addict, was the getaway driver for her boyfriend, Rudolph Haladyna of Clarksville, Greene County, who is serving 20 years for using a gun to rob a series of banks in Washington County, Fayette County and in West Virginia in the fall of 2010.

The FBI said Ms. Crawford was his driver, using his mother's car, in most of the holdups.

No sentencing date was set.
