Two Trinity High School students performed during the Music For All National Festival in Indianapolis, Ind., Feb. 28-March 1.

Cassie Gilpin, a senior clarinetist, and Sarah Songer, a junior clarinetist, were selected from hundreds of applicants to perform in the 100-piece 2008 Honor Band of America on the campus of Butler University.

Cassie is the daughter of Patricia Gilpin, of North Franklin. She is a member of the Trinity High School Wind Ensemble and Marching Band and has played with the Washington Symphony Orchestra. Cassie was a member of the 2008 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District Band and Region Band. She played in the 2008 Washington County Band and has performed with the Knights of Columbus All-State Band at California University of Pennsylvania the past two years.

Sarah is the daughter of E. J. and Lisa Songer, of South Strabane. She is a member of the Trinity High School Wind Ensemble and Marching Band and was a member of the 2006 and 2007 PMEA District 1 Honors Band, the 2007 and 2008 PMEA District Band, and the 2008 West Virginia University Invitational Honor Band. Sarah played in the 2006 Washington County Band and has performed with the Knights of Columbus All-Star Band at Cal U the past three years.
