A Washington County woman admitted this morning that she helped her boyfriend rob a series of banks in Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2010.

Jessica Crawford, 32, of Marianna, pleaded guilty in federal court in Clarksburg, W.Va., to one count of bank robbery for her role as the getaway driver for Rudolph Haladyna, 36, of Greene County, who is serving 20 years in federal prison for using a gun to rob five banks.

Ms. Crawford, a heroin addict, and Mr. Haladyna, also a drug user, were involved in several robberies in the fall and winter of 2010, using Mr. Haladyna's mother's car as their transportation.

They were caught Dec. 10 after state police and the FBI watched them buy a ski mask and case several banks.
