Monongahela man sentenced for health care fraud

A former X-ray technician was sentenced today to three years and one month in prison for health care fraud.

Randall F. Guzik, 47, of Monongahela, will also have to pay back the $550,077 he got for fictitious services billed to Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, of Ohio and Kentucky.

He billed for the services from 2007 through 2011.

U.S. District Judge Maurice B. Cohill pronounced sentence.
