Inquest scheduled into fatal Washington house fire

The Washington County coroner has scheduled an inquest July 20 into the death of a woman who died in a house fire this spring.

Firefighters found the body of Elaine Manack, 59, of Finleyville, inside a home on Nasal Lane in Union. The coroner's office determined that she died of smoke inhalation. One man was injured in the fire.
