2 bridges to open on Montour Trail in Cecil

The Montour Trail Council has scheduled a ceremony for July 28 to mark the opening of two bridges that will fill gaps on the trail in Cecil.
The bridges, crossing Georgetown Road at mile 27.3 and Morganza Road at mile 27.1, are expected to open to traffic a few days before the ceremony, said Ned Williams, president of the trail council.
The ceremony will begin at noon at Hendersonville Park. Officials will use the occasion to announce plans for a new segment linking the trail to Southpointe.
