A federal grand jury has indicted 17 people for selling cocaine in a ring that centered on Washington, Pa., but stretched from Harrisburg to Warren, Ohio, U.S. Attorney David Hickton's office said Monday.

Thirteen defendants are from Pennsylvania -- nine from Washington, Pa., three from McKeesport and one from Harrisburg. The others are from Warren, including accused ringleaders Kashma Jordan, 32, and Robert Harvey, 38, the U.S. attorney's office said.

All are charged with conspiring to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine, and some face additional counts of distributing 500 grams of cocaine or trying to sell crack from January 2011 through last month.

The FBI and state police conducted the probe that led to the indictments. The probe also led to an indictment in May for heroin dealing.
