Negotiations continued today with Hill District leaders over neighborhood benefits connected to the new Penguins arena.

At an afternoon press conference, Carl Redwood, leader of the One Hill Community Benefit Agreement Coalition, said all sides were "working very hard" to get an agreement.

Negotiations had continued even as the city planning commission prepared to vote on a master plan for the arena.

The One Hill group had asked for neighborhood-controlled development funding, first dibs on jobs for Hill residents, a grocery store and community center, more park space and input into a redevelopment master plan.
