Goodwill to auction used cars

Goodwill Industries of Pittsburgh will hold a winter auction of used cars next week.
The auto sale will be Jan. 19 at its North Huntingdon auction site, off U.S. Route 30 on Billot Avenue. The auction is open to the public. Vehicle preview and registration will begin at 4 p.m., and bidding at 5:30 p.m.
On the bid slate are at least 30 donated vehicles, including a 1977 Ford Granada and a 1998 Ford F-250 truck. A comprehensive vehicle list and other information about the auction may be obtained by calling, toll-free, 1-888-304-0227 or by visiting, www.goodwillpitt.org.
To buy a vehicle, a customer must put down a $100 cash deposit that will be applied toward its purchase or refunded at the end of the auction.
Full payment is due on the day of the auction. Acceptable payment methods include cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.
