Capitol cafeteria shut down due to rodent infestation

The cafeteria in the state Capitol in Harrisburg had to be shut down after inspectors found evidence of a rodent infestation.
The state Department of Agriculture says the cafeteria was closed after lunch yesterday, following a routine inspection.
Department spokesman Justin Fleming says the most serious issue involved the discovery of mouse droppings. He says inspectors also found that some dishwashers lacked the heat needed to sterilize.
Officials say they want the problems resolved immediately.
The cafeteria is run by Aramark, which won a bid to run it in June. Aramark officials could not be reached for comment.
