Weather watchers won't have much to look at today but experts at the National Weather Service office in Moon are monitoring a potential storm system that is expected to move into the region Tuesday.

Meteorologist Lee Hendricks said today's forecast calls for slightly lower than normal temperatures but an uneventful day in terms of precipitation.

"It's going to be fairly quiet. We're going to warm into the lower 30s today. That's slightly below normal highs around 37. We're continuing to pay for our nice November," he commented.

Things get uncertain on Tuesday when a storm system is to move into the region. "It's looking like it will make a nice East Coast storm from Philadelphia north but, depending on the track, we could get snow here," Mr. Hendricks said.

At this point, it's looking like the weather system will bring rain Tuesday afternoon that will change to snow overnight and into Wednesday. "Right now, it's looking like the snow will miss us for the most part but we'll be monitoring the track," he said.
