A Washington County woman is expected to plead guilty Friday to charges that she served as the getaway driver during a string of armed bank robberies in Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2010.

Jessica Crawford, 32, of Marianna, is scheduled to enter the plea before a federal magistrate in Clarksburg, W.Va.

Federal prosecutors said Ms. Crawford helped Rudolph Haladyna, 36, of Greene County, hold up a series of banks in Washington and Fayette counties and in Morgantown and Weirton, W.Va.

The FBI said she and Mr. Haladyna got away with $31,846.

The pair was arrested after they were caught on video buying a ski mask at a Walmart in Washington. The next day, they were under surveillance by the FBI and local police as they drove to Morgantown to case banks. Authorities pulled over their car and found the mask and other items.
