Washington County man admits to coercing minor

A Washingon, Pa., man pleaded guilty today to coercing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity.

In 2010, Jeffrey W. Herschell, 54, sent money to the Philippines to pay for viewing an online sex show including a 12-year-old girl, according to U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton's office. He also pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

He is to be sentenced May 28 by U.S. District Judge David Stewart Cercone.
