Two postal employees accused of stealing mail

Two U.S. Postal Service employees were indicted Tuesday and accused of stealing mail, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.
Christopher L. Demorest Sr., 39, of Greensburg is accused of taking a greeting card containing $25 and two other greeting cards meant for three people identified in the indictment only by their initials.
Shaun G. Westfall, 32, of Baden took parcels meant for two people who are also identified by initials, according his indictment, which provides no other details.
Both men are set to be arraigned March 26, according to the U.S. District Court docket.
Theft of mail by a postal employee is a felony. Anyone who suspects mail tampering or theft should call 1-877-876-2455.
