A San Antonio man was convicted today of first-degree murder after police said he shot a man inside a Ligonier bar over a dispute about a TV.

Police arrested Stephen Paul Fromholz last summer on charges that he shot Donald Holler, 65, of Ligonier, inside Fat Daddy's Pub.

Ligonier police Chief John Berger said at the time that Mr. Fromholz walked into the bar in a black cowboy hat, sat down, ordered a drink and then began arguing with Mr. Holler about either the volume or the channel the television was on.

Witnesses told police Mr. Fromholz left the bar, pulled a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber rifle from his truck and returned. He then opened fire, striking Mr. Holler at least once and killing him almost instantly, police said.
