Missing Fayette County teenager found safe

A Fayette County runaway whom state police described as "mentally challenged" was found safe tonight in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh police located Cheyanne Hammond, 17, in Downtown Pittsburgh several hours after she ran away from Everson, her hometown. Cheyanne said before she left that she hoped to visit her mother who lived in Montana, troopers from the Belle Vernon barracks wrote in a news release.
