Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Allegheny, Armstrong and Westmoreland counties

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Allegheny, Armstrong and Westmoreland counties.

Storms are possible in those areas with damaging winds up to 60 miles per hour and quarter-size hail. At 3:08 p.m., the storm was near Murrysville, moving northeast at 10 miles per hour

The warning lasts until 4 p.m.
