Roadways clear of serious traffic incidents

Despite some tricky travel conditions today, the region's roadways were clear of serious traffic incidents.

Area emergency dispatchers and police agencies reported only a handful of mishaps on area roads, none of which resulted in serious injury.

State police at Findlay recounted a spate of fender-benders in the overnight hours but said the region's highways were clear of crashes by morning.

Emergency dispatchers in Washington, Butler, Fayette, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties reported virtually no traffic troubles by dawn with just a few sporadic incidents in the wee hours of the day.
