Allegheny County police investigate body on Montour Trail as suicide

Allegheny County police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found on the Montour Trail this morning.

Jeffrey Black, 43, who lived near Coraopolis, was pronounced dead on the trail shortly after 10 a.m., according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Allegheny County homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman said police are investigating the death as a possible suicide. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
