The Parkway East outbound at the Squirrel Hill Tunnel will be reduced to one lane on Monday and Thursday nights of next week as PennDOT continues work on a rehabilitation project.

One lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both days as crews prepare the outbound tunnel for the project, due to start next year. PennDOT warned motorists that there could be delays.

The $49.5 million rehabilitation project is slated to finish in the summer of 2014.
