One of two people accused of leading an oxycodone diversion ring that was busted in a 10-person indictment pleaded guilty Tuesday.
Shannon Houston Wolfe, 36 of South Park admitted being part of a conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and will be sentenced Jan. 16.
She and her husband, Brian David Wolfe, 37, were scheduled to plead in August, but didn't show. They were arrested in southern Texas, brought back to Pittsburgh and jailed.
They are accused of recruiting pill addicts to serve as "runners" who got pharmacies to fill fake prescriptions for the powerful narcotics, which were then sold.
Mr. Wolfe is scheduled to plead guilty Tuesday.
