Ligonier man killed Tuesday in Somerset County crash

A Ligonier man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Route 30 in Somerset County, state police said.
Steven Sherback, 37, was pronounced dead on scene by Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller, authorities said.
Mr. Sherback's westbound vehicle began to skid on Route 30 in Jenner Township, crossed the center-line and struck an eastbound vehicle around 6 p.m., according to an initial investigation by state police.
The second driver was taken to Conemaugh Hospital for unknown injuries, state police said in a press release.
