A group of Penn State alumni say a new fundraising drive has collected more than $430,000 to help victims of sexual abuse.

Two alumni created Twitter and Facebook accounts to raise funds for a national charity -- The Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network.

The effort began after former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with molesting eight boys over a 15-year period. Mr. Sandusky has maintained his innocence.

The Harrisburg Patriot-News says that people not connected with the school have contributed, too.
