Marshals arrest fugitive in North Braddock shooting

An 18-year-old North Braddock man wanted in connection with a shooting in April was arrested in Monroevill this morning.

The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force apprehended Carl Henderson, also known as "Trigger," who was wanted by Allegheny County police on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearm possession.

The charges stem from an incident in which a woman was shot on Bell Avenue in North Braddock following an argument April 8.

He was arrested at 11 a.m. today the 4700 block of Monroeville Boulevard.

The woman was shot in the abdomen. Mr. Henderson was 17 at the time but is being charged as an adult. Investigators did not release the name of the woman.
