Man's body found in Forward, Butler County

State police are investigating a homicide in Forward Township in Butler County.

Troopers said an acquaintance found the body of Robert Charles Gaurrich, 45, about 11 p.m. Friday at 1657 Evans City Road in Forward. That is the address of his business, Bob's Trucks & Auto Repair.

Mr. Gaurrich lives on Brownsdale Road in Evans City, troopers said.

An autopsy conducted this afternoon by the county coroner's office determined Mr. Gaurrich died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

State police refused to release more information about the shooting.
