Centre County court administrators announced Monday that they will hold a "lottery" to decide who can attend Jerry Sandusky's court appearance next week.
The former Penn State defensive coordinator, who has been charged with sexually abusing eight boys over a period of several years, is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Centre County Common Pleas Court at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 13.
Court administrators posted a statement on their website saying they will hold a "random drawing" to assign seats for the hearing.
People who want to attend the hearing can submit applications at www.co.centre.pa.us/media between noon Wednesday and noon Thursday. Only people who have assigned seats will be allowed to attend.
