Liberty Bridge ramp to I-579 to close this weekend

The ramp from the Liberty Bridge to northbound Interstate 579-Crosstown Boulevard will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, PennDOT announced today.

Northbound traffic on the Veterans Bridge approach to the Parkway North will be restricted to a single lane during the same period.

Crews will replace expansion dams as part of the continuing $36 million Veterans Bridge/I-579 rehabilitation project.
