Banksville Road, Parkway East construction work canceled

Work on Banksville Road this weekend and on westbound Parkway East at Grant Street has been canceled.
PennDOT said the work on Banksville is canceled for the weekend due to expected inclement weather.
The parkway work had been scheduled to take place tonight.
Also, rail maintenance work scheduled for Sunday on the Red Line T service in Beechview has been canceled. The work planned for Saturday, however, still will occur. A portion of the outbound Red Line will be closed in Beechview from approximately 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
