Landline phones out in area of Clarion County

Telephone service is out in the area of Knox, Clarion County, for residents in the 797 exchange area.

According to a Clarion County 911 Center emergency email alert, the duration of the outage is unknown and officials advise residents to use cell phones.

The Knox area ambulance station and fire department are staffed and ready to respond if an emergency exists.

Knox EMS station is at 814-797-1263. The fire department is at 814-797-5000.
