Labor Day closings set

All city, county, state and federal offices and courts will be closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday.
Traditional banks and state liquor stores will be closed, although Citizens Bank branches situated in Giant Eagle stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Post offices will be closed and regular mail will not be picked up or delivered; Express Mail, however, will be delivered.
Garbage pickup this week will be delayed by one day.
The Port Authority will run bus, T and incline service on a holiday schedule and the customer service phone line (412-442-2000 or, for TTY, 412-231-7007) will operate from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the Downtown service center will be closed. Also, PennDOT service centers are closed today.
Additionally, the annual Labor Day Parade will detour more than 30 bus routes in Downtown, the Hill District and along Bigelow Boulevard from about 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.
