Human remains discovered in Mercer

State police are investigating the discovery of human remains in Mercer County.

According to police, a hunter found the skeletal remains at about 8 a.m. in a wooded area half a mile north of Interstate 80 in East Lackawannock. Police said it could take weeks before the remains can be identified through forensic analysis.
