Former pharmacist faces drug charges

A federal grand jury has indicted a former Walgreens pharmacist for violating drug laws.

U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton said the one-count indictment, unsealed today, accuses Charles Brian Griffin, 27, of Mount Washington, of conspiring with others to distribute and possess the potent painkiller oxycodone.

Drug Enforcement Administration officers investigated Mr. Griffin, the U.S. Attorney's office said.
