When it comes to the weather, it's always something.
In the past few days, residents in Western Pennsylvania have endured snow, sleet, freezing rain, ice, light drizzle and simply rain. Numerous watches and advisories were posted by the National Weather Service, warning of trecherous travel conditions.
Today, we're in a fog.
While only Erie and Crawford counties to the far north were under a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. today, rapid snowmelt and high atmospheric moisture has brought heavy fog conditions for spots around Pittsburgh and throughout most of the region.
At 5 a.m., visibility at Pittsburgh International Airport was reduced to a half mile. The temperature had reached 50 degrees with a relative humidity of 96 percent and light drizzle. Winds were light from the southwest, reaching about 3 mph.
