County official to resign, take over retirement board

Timothy Johnson, director of Allegheny County's Department of Administrative Services, will resign next month and become executive director of the county retirement board.

Jerry Tyskiewicz, the manager of fiscal affairs for the county Court of Common Pleas, will fill Mr. Johnson's position.

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced the personnel changes, which will take effect Dec. 3, on Friday.
