Child-porn guilty plea nets Mercer County man 35-year prison sentence

A Mercer County man was sentenced today to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography.
Federal prosecutors said Armando Cruz, 44, had sexual contact with four girls, three of whom were younger than 12, in 2011 and took photos and videos, which he sent to men in Denver and San Diego.
In passing sentence, U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab ordered Mr. Cruz to remain on supervised release after he serves his time in prison.
