CCAC board elects new officers for 2013

The board of trustees at Community College of Allegheny County on Thursday elected new officers for 2013, including naming a new board chairwoman, Amy Kuntz, who is a senior vice president and market director for PNC institutional investments in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Other newly elected officers are vice chairman Gregory Peaslee, senior vice president and chief human resources and administrative services officer for UPMC; secretary Martha Isler, director of public policy for Pittsburgh Association for the Education of Young Children; assistant secretary Mona Generett, retired vice president for community development at Dollar Bank; treasurer Jay Costa, state senator, D-Forest Hills; and assistant treasurer James Flynn, senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer for Chester Engineers.

Allegheny County Councilman William Robinson, who has served as chairman for the past two years and is leaving the board, was recognized by the board for his 20 years of service.

The board does not meet in December.
