Boy found dead at Hidden Valley

A boy was found dead in his sleep at a Hidden Valley Resort condominium Sunday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Somerset County coroner Wallace Miller identified the boy as 11-year-old Conner Patrick Williams of New Philadelphia, Ohio. It appears he died of natural causes, Mr. Miller said.
State police in the Somerset barracks are investigating and said the death is not considered suspicious at this time.
A family member awoke that morning in a condo in the Timbercrest Court section of the resort and called Conner and others to get ready for skiing, state police said in a news release. Hearing no response, that relative entered the boy's bedroom and found him dead about 9 a.m. He had been with family at the resort over the holidays, police said.
Cpl. Edward Thomas said investigators don't believe the death is connected to anything that happened to the child at the resort. Autopsy results are pending results of laboratory tests.
A Hidden Valley spokeswoman said the resort is saddened by the death but is awaiting details and has no further comment.
