AGH hosts kidney symposium today

Allegheny General Hospital, North Side, is hosting the "World Kidney Day Symposium" today in an effort to focus attention on a disease that impacts 26 million residents of the United States.

The global health awareness campaign is focusing on the prevention and treatment of kidney disease. The symposium will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AGH Magovern Conference Center on East North Street.
