With his white hair and beard and grandfatherly countenance, Jay Lehman looks like the person you'd expect to own an old-fashioned hardware store. Lehman founded the store in Kidron, Ohio, in 1955, to supply a rural county with a large Amish population. Lehman's Hardware continues to fill that role, but it also has become a destination for those wanting to experience a bit of the past.
