A lot of attention will be focused on Bill Mazeroski in the next several weeks -- his statue will be unveiled at PNC Park, and the celebration of the Pirates' 1960 World Series victory, in which Mazeroski played such a big role, will pick up steam as October approaches. But a shrine of sorts to the Hall of Fame second baseman already can be found in Brownsville, Fayette County. Chuck Bogorae was in grade school when Maz, as he is known by his fans, homered in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the seventh game of the series against the powerful and heavily favored Yankeees. Over the years, Bogorae collected memorabilia Maz had autographed, some of which he displays in a vacant bedroom in his home. In all, Bogorae has more than 250 items in his collection. You can see pictures of some of the items by clicking on the red hotspots.
