CAMPUS EVENTS

Center -- Penn State University will sponsor "Culture and Development: Effects on Reasoning about Gender Equity" from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in room 16 in the Student Union Building on its Beaver campus, 1 Campus Drive. Carnegie -- The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 32 will hold its fish fry, including baked cod and baked potatoes, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and March 1, 8, 15 and 22 in the Ukrainian-American Citizens Clubs, 302 Mansfield Blvd.

Heidelberg -- Heidelberg Volunteer Fire Department, 456 First St., will sponsor a Lenten fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays from Friday to March 22 and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 29. Pierogies also will be sold on March 29. Information: 412-722-6314.

ON STAGE

SCHOLARSHIPS

Center -- Current or prospective Penn State students majoring or planning to major in engineering, technology, design or business and with an interest in the auto industry are encouraged to apply for the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program, which awards 100 scholarships annually, each up to $25,000, and also offers 1,000 annual scholarships, each at $2,000.
