Beaver Falls -- Geneva College, 3200 College Ave., will host lead pastor the Rev. David Beelen and director of outreach Ricardo Tavarez of Madison Square Church in Grand Rapids, Mich., for discussions on diversity on Wednesday. Mr. Tavarez will speak during chapel at 10:10 a.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse, and Rev. Beelen and Mr. Tavarez will present "A Journey toward Diversity" at 7 p.m. in Skye Lounge of the Student Center. FOR CHILDREN
South Fayette -- The South Fayette Township Library, 515 Millers Run Road, will sponsor its monthly Magic Tree House Club for children with a reading level from grades 2 to 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. next Thursday. FUNDRAISERS
North Fayette -- Parkway West Career & Technology Center, 7101 Steubenville Pike, will host a spaghetti luncheon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Thursday. The cost is $8, $5 for students. Proceeds benefit medical expenses for PWCTC student Joe Lawlor, who suffers from sarcoidosis. In inclement weather, luncheon will be held Jan. 18. Information: 412-923-1772 ext. 115.

South Fayette -- The South Fayette Township Library, 515 Millers Run Road, in conjunction with the Allegheny County Library Association, will hold its monthly PALS Book Club from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
