South Fayette -- The children's department of the South Fayette Township Library, 515 Millers Run Road, will sponsor "Meet the Grinch," including a reading and video of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Registration is required, and space is limited. Information: 412-257-8660.

FUNDRAISERS

Moon -- The band and orchestra at Moon Area High School, 8353 University Blvd., will sponsor a pancake breakfast and cookie walk from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the school cafeteria. Cost for breakfast: $6, $4 for seniors. Cost for walk: $9. Information: 724-777-7457.

LIBRARIES

South Fayette -- The South Fayette Township Library, 515 Millers Run Road, will sponsor the following events on Tuesday. Information: 412-257-8660.

• PALS Book Club discussion of Sue Miller's "The Senator's Wife," noon to 1 p.m. Registration is requested. Co-sponsored by the Allegheny County Library Association.

• Holiday Cookie Swap, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is required, and space is limited.
