DINING OUT

Crafton -- Crafton United Presbyterian Church, 140 Bradford Ave., will host a Thanksgiving dinner at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The deadline is next Thursday. A brief worship service will precede the dinner. Reservations: 412-921-2293.

FOR CHILDREN

South Fayette -- The South Fayette Township Library will hold "Preschool Science" for children ages 2-6 years with caregivers from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays from today to Dec. 13. The cost is $5 per class, and registration is required. No class will be held Nov. 22. Information: 412-257-8660.

FUNDRAISING

Ambridge -- An auction, hors d'oeuvres and music will be featured at the annual Taste of Autumn Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Laughlin Memorial Free Library, Eleventh Street. ON STAGE

Beaver Falls -- The Beaver Valley Community Concert Association will sponsor a "Masters of Motown" performance by the TFC Band at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the auditorium at Beaver Falls Middle School, 1601 Eighth Ave. Tickets cost $20, $5 for students. Information: 724-843-2941.

RELIGION

Hopewell -- The Beaver Valley Christian Women's Club will hold its monthly luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Fez Banquet and Wedding Center, 2312 Brodhead Road. Speaker will be Liz Bryant, whose topic will be "Collecting, Not Counting Sheep." The cost is $10, and reservations, including those for child care, are required by next Thursday.
