Bonnie Livingston,

who has been Silver Sneakers coordinator for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh-South Hills in Scott, has been named the center's fitness director.

She has been at JCC-South Hills for more than 11 years.

Chris Gilbert, who has worked in various capacities at the JCC-South Hills, has been named Silver Sneakers and Fitness Associate.

Joshua Egal, a professional tobacconist with The Smoke Stack Everything Tobacco, 7305 University Blvd., Moon, has qualified for membership in the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association.

With more than 2,000 members throughout the U.S. and 31 countries, the association is the leading nonprofit industry organization representing retailers, manufacturers and distributors of handmade cigars, pipes and accessories.

• Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania has presented Samantha Wildman and Carly Charochak, Montour High School seniors, with the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest recognition for achievement in Girl Scouting.

Samantha also serves in a leadership position as a group leader in her church's vacation bible school, has taught children's worship at her church, assisted with a local Brownie troop's meetings and is a high honor roll student.

Carly also serves in a leadership position as a member of the Montour tennis team, stage crew manager for the high school musical, a member of the Cure Finders Club, and is an honor roll student.

The girls were partners in planning an afternoon festival in August at Marian Manor Nursing Home to get the residents outdoors to enjoy the warm weather.
