Two men held for trial in death of pregnant teen

Two men have been held for trial in the death of a pregnant teenager who was gunned down in October in Ambridge, a bystander not involved in a drug feud, authorities said.
Tyrone Fuller, 31, of McKeesport, and Marlin Kelly, 27, will face trial on charges of homicide, homicide of an unborn child, robbery and conspiracy in the Oct. 28 slaying of Conekia Finney, 19. She died after being shot in the chest at the Merchant Street apartment she shared with Steven Murray, her boyfriend and the father of her children.
James Leo, who said he is a heroin user who bought drugs from Fuller and Kelly, testified at Thursday's hearing before a Beaver County district judge that on Oct. 28, Fuller offered him a free bundle of heroin if he drove the pair to Mr. Murray's apartment. Mr. Leo drove them to Merchant Street and showed them where Mr. Murray lived, dropping them off a few blocks away. According to Mr. Leo, Fuller complained that Mr. Murray was "stepping on his toes," and Mr. Leo understood that Fuller meant to rob Mr. Murray.
The victim's mother, Elaine Finney, said she was waiting outside of her daughter's apartment in a car when she heard bangs and, about four minutes later, saw two men in dark hooded sweatshirts -- one with a white emblem -- and dark pants running down the stairs. That roughly matched a clothing description given for the men by Mr. Leo.
