Three teens charged in Kennedy killing

Police arrested three teenagers Thursday and charged them as adults with the shooting death of a Kennedy man on Monday.
Jon Lee, 16, Dmetrei McCann, 17, and Brandon Lind, 17, face charges of homicide, robbery and conspiracy in the death of Jordan Coyner, 20, inside his home on Julia Lane, Allegheny County homicide Sgt. Scott Scherer said in a news release. It was not immediately clear which roles each of the teens played in the robbery-turned shooting.
Officers arrested Devele "Mozzie" Reid, 22, of Hazelwood, earlier this week and said at the time that he was the one who fired the fatal shot.
Police said Mr. Reid and four juveniles hatched a plan to steal marijuana from Mr. Coyner, a Slippery Rock University student who was apparently dealing the drug out of his parents' home.
Three people approached the house but only Mr. Reid went inside the basement where Mr. Coyner was shot, police said. Two others stayed in the maroon Monte Carlo that was seen fleeing from the scene.
Mr. Reid said after his arrest that he "never meant for it to go like that. I was supposed to get a couple of dollars for my family and go from there."
